the grammys.

i don't really enjoy awards shows. at all. i actually can't stand them. the whole "look at me, look at me" attitude of it all drives me crazy. that is why i was shocked when i ended up watching the entire grammys show. that's right, three and a half hours of fun. and i enjoyed it. i loved that there weren't many speeches thanking people we have never heard of and never will again. there were a couple of speeches that were weird and annoying, but the annoying was outweighed by the spectacular musical numbers. carrie underwood, anyone? she was amazing. i also really enjoyed tina and beyonce, even though i mostly can't stand beyonce. chances are, that is the only awards show i will watch this year, but it was a good one. just thought i would share, that's all.
