i forgot to let you know that my computer is doing much better. not really sure what was wrong with it (i should have asked, probably). all i really needed to know was that it was going to work and so far, so good.

mine is as good as new, minus a couple of key programs i have yet to reinstall. i got a new hard drive AND a new backup drive, so i'm pretty golden for now. it was a pretty unfortunate thing to experience, especially since my computer is still relatively young. but i have a bigger hard drive now, so i guess a little good came of it?? i know it's a stretch, but i need it...
